Job Description
Manage and supervise a crew of traffic controllers and STMS. Inspire them to be totally onto it, setting out an efficient and compliant temporary traffic management plan. Hire in casual TCs for the bigger jobs and make sure our sites are safe for pedestrians and traffic when we’re not on site.
What You Bring to the Role
- A sound working knowledge of CoPTTM.
- The ability to interpret TMPs, set up the TTM, supervise and change it on the fly as needs arise and break them down when we’re done.
- Extreme organisation and planning skills, knowing way in advance what you need and when and making it happen as if by magic. But really it’s done through constant communication and attention to detail.
- People skills – knowing how to pick the best people, coax a star performance out of them and keep them coming back for more.
- A Class 1 drivers license is essential.
- An STMS-R (Cat A,B or C) warrant (used to be Level 1). We’ll arrange any ongoing training and foot the bill for maintaining any certifications you need.

Overtime is usual available in the week if you’re up for it. Occasionally there might be emergency work outside of hours and we’ll compensate you well if you go for that.
