Site Engineer/Project Manager

Job Description

Manage a civil construction project from early contractor involvement at design stage, through planning, procurement and construction phases to deliver projects on programme and budget. You will report to the operations manager and provide support to the site manager and the team on site, while ensuring the project is meeting specifications, compliance and is resourced in a timely and efficient manner.

What You Bring to the Role

  • Expertise in time and resource management through careful and efficient planning and prioritisation.
  • A tertiary qualification in a civil construction or engineering discipline or relevant civil infrastructure industry experience.
  • An eye for detail, digital paperwork in pristine order, documentation done, permits in place, deadlines met.
  • A Class 1 drivers license is essential and you must currently be in New Zealand.
  • Excellent communication with people at all levels and a desire to smash through targets.
